Okaeri Festival (Welcome Back Festival)

From to

This festival is held every year on the third Saturday and Sunday in May. It is a spring festival of Fujitsuka Shrine in which 13 elaborately carved trucks are walked around the town, accompanied by a group of young men playing small trumpets. Following the 13 trucks is another group of young men dressed in traditional hakama robes who guide lacquer-painted and beautifully designed portable shrines around the town.
Day One – From early morning to around 23:00
Day Two – From 19:00 to midnight
