Rice-Planting Festival (Yatsuki-Tsutsukowake Shrine)


This festival is held every year on the 6th day of the Lunar New Year Calendar, which falls in early-mid February. Rice Planting Festival is held to pray for good harvests. Hilarious comedic dances that portray a series of rice farming scenes are performed at the Yatsukitsusukowake Shrine.
