Sui-jinja Eitai Oomi Kagura

The 2019 festival date is TBA, but is typically held on the first Sunday of February.

In this festival, an elegant dancer wrapped in an old-fashioned ensemble performs to communicate a scene from ancient times. There are other masked dancers waving fans and bells in their performances as well. Lastly, freshly cooked dumplings are thrown from the elevated stage into the audience below, and it is said that if you eat them, you will be protected from illness and disease.
